North End Collective Church Boise, ID

AUTHENTIC SPIRITUALITY.

We are a people pursuing our most authentic life. Learning to live by faith in the Way of Jesus, which is meant to be lived in redemptive community.

REDEMPTIVE COMMUNITY.

We are a people coming together in pursuit of wholeness and healing, chasing life to the full promised in Jesus. We are a voice of hope declaring the Good News of Jesus and demonstrating sacrificial love.

SACRIFICIAL LOVE.

Love changes everything! God has so sacrificially loved the world through his Son Jesus that we seek to extend that sacrificial love that is in us out into the world around us. So we are people on mission to love and serve one another, our neighbors, Boise and beyond.

ABOUT US

OUR MISSION: To be a people collectively joining with God in the restoration of all creation by living in the Way of Jesus.

North End Collective Church Boise, Idaho has two regular gatherings in the rhythm of our community: Sunday gatherings and Community Groups (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings). We believe that everyone, everywhere was created in the image of God who is Himself a community (the Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Which means we were created for community. Community with the Triune God and each other where we can share our strengths and weaknesses, carry each other’s burdens, suffer and celebrate, love and be loved. It’s in these beautiful, messy relationships where formation into the image of Jesus can happen because this way of Jesus cannot be lived alone.

Core Values

Belonging

Belonging

Everyone is created in the image of God with a deep longing to belong. Belonging creates the context where we can share our strengths and weaknesses, carry each other’s burdens, suffer and celebrate,
love and be loved. It’s in these beautiful, messy relationships where formation into the
image of Jesus can happen because this way of Jesus is not lived alone. (John 17:21)

Formation

Formation

We all follow someone & are formed by something. We believe following Jesus and his Way forms us, through the power of the Holy Spirit, into the people we were created to be...fully alive...fully human. When something or someone becomes the object of our affection we begin to point our whole lives towards it, becoming like the object of our affection. Colossians 2: 6-7

Family

Family

When Jesus saves us He saves us into family. He frees us from living in the world as slaves and orphans, searching for an identity, working for approval and living in competition with one another. We become the adopted children of God, beloved of the Father, the apple of His eye and relate to one another as family.

Celebration

Celebration

The result of “Good News” and it happens as we experience the reality of God’s active, present pursuit of “making all things new.” We get to join His Family as sons and daughters and receive all He has to offer us. So may we eat, drink, live, love, give and grow together in anticipation of the Day when heaven and earth are fully and finally one! 1 Corinthians 13:12-13, Revelation 21:1-5

Creativity

Creativity

The natural extension of baring the image of God. The foundation of worship, He created and then we worshiped. God is creative at His core and He created us in His likeness to be creative. Our most creative act is to live our most authentic life in Christ. “For we are God’s work of art. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10)

Mission

Mission

The world we live in is not as it is supposed to be. It’s broken. But God is actively “making all things new” and has extended the invitation to all of us to join Him. It’s through mission that God extends His fingerprints through us to our family, neighbors, workplaces, hobbies and most certainly the least, the last and the lost around us. Luke 4:18-19
