WHAT WE BELIEVE

  • ::: We believe that God is the Creator and sustainer of all things, that He created everyone, everywhere, in his Image – placing in each of us His divine spark that draws us to worship.
  • ::: We believe in the fall of mankind and that sin separates us from God; that humankind’s fallen nature is to serve a less demanding god and worship created things rather than the Creator God, leaving us dissatisfied and unfulfilled. We find ourselves settling for less than God’s best for us, settling for less than who God created us to be.
  • ::: We believe that God the Father sent His Son Jesus Christ to show us the full extent of his love by entering into the present pain and brokenness of this world.  He gave His life as a ransom, the perfect sacrifice satisfying once and for all barrier between us and God.
  • ::: We believe Jesus is who He said He is, “The Way, the Truth and the Life.”  And will do what He promised in offering life now and forever to everyone who believes in Him. “For whoever wants to save their life (preserve what you have) will lose it, but whoever loses their life (letting go of what you have now) for me will find it (the life and life to the full you long for).”
  • ::: We believe that He has both offered life to the full now and forever and that his death on the cross was the sacrifice necessary for humankind to be in right relationship with our Creator again. Sin and death have been defeated and no longer have the last word.
  • ::: We believe that three days after Jesus died on the cross the tomb was empty because God raised Him from the dead; and we believe that the resurrection of Jesus changes everything for us.
  • ::: We believe that after Jesus sat down at the right hand of the Father, he sent the Holy Spirit.
  • ::: We believe the Holy Spirit is present and available.  He is the third person of the Trinity giving us access to the presence, power and purpose of heaven to live into the promised abundant life today as we join God on mission.
  • ::: We believe in the Holy Trinity, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all one. Through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, the Kingdom of Heaven is available- through us, among us, and all around us as Heaven is being reestablished here on earth.

All of this is rooted in the Scriptures and WE BELIEVE that

"All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching rebuking correcting and training in righteousness, so that all God's people may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
